ThanksGLEEving
Current mood: cheerful
lol...oh clever me with the title, just gotta laugh.
I’ve been heart broken these last few days, mostly for my sister and Mardales family. I now they have felt lost and with the big heart that I have I have also felt lost. I know now more than ever not to take things for granted. I cherish each moment I have with the people I care about and will continue to poor my love out, show that there is compassion in the world, and help those I can.
Last night I watched Glee, a great new show, and they always have such good songs.
Last week there was two songs that I sang for my sister Stand by Me and Lean on Me. Last night there was some songs that I needed to hear that have really lifted my spirit.
First Song (since I’m not sure what it is called here are the lyrics I like best):
Imagine all the people living life in peace. You say that I am a dreamer. But I’m not the only one. I hope someday you will join us and the world will be as one. Imagine all the people sharing the world. You may say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you will join us and the world will live as one.
That song made me almost tear up and I had to sing it a couple of times and well it made me feel great, for that is how I feel and with all the cold heartedness I see and hear, it’s just what I needed to know that there are people out there that do care, that have big warm hearts just like me.
The next song was True Colors:
I see your true colors shining through and that’s why I love you, so don’t be afraid to let them show.
That song made me think of my baby sis, Nicole, and how she is so beautiful since her true colors do shine through. I’m so thankful to have her as my younger sister. Then it made me think of my boyfriend, and how I’m falling in love with him more each day. As dorky as he is, he is such a great guy, Alex, and I just see his true colors shining through and I love them! I’m so thankful God has brought him into my life, after the hell of last year this makes up for it, and I can’t wait to see him. Also my best friend, Cyndy, that I have known for a year, she is a great girl and I’m so thankful that we met and so thankful to have met someone so like me but more sweet!
I’m just so thankful for everything, there aren’t enough words to tell you.
So I’ll just say that I am thankful for my family, my friends, my job, my life, and that I have Jesus in my heart.
Hope you have a wonderful thankful thanksgiving!
and if you haven't seen Glee you SHOULD watch it!!! it's great happiness!!!
